Why it matters
The seat measures 20 x 19 x 23.6 in for dogs up to 35 lb. A 5.12 in foam cushion lifts your dog for the view, and it is reversible: fleece for winter, breathable mesh for summer. PETSFIT's patented safety buckles attach to the car's seatbelt, and the cover and cushion machine wash.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Dogs to 35 lb
- All-season use
- Carsick dogs that like a view
Look elsewhere if
- Dogs over 35 lb
- Crash protection
- Small cars (tall)
Pros and cons
Pros
- Reversible cushion
- Patented buckles
- Machine washable
Cons
- Tall
- Containment only
- Mid price
Limitations to weigh
- Booster seats keep small dogs contained and calmer; they are not crash protection. Clip tethers to a harness, never a collar.
