Why it matters
Most car harnesses rely on the maker's own claims. The Sleepypod Clickit Sport is on the Center for Pet Safety (CPS) list with a five-star rating from its July 2014 program, covering sizes small to extra-large. The Sport Plus is Sleepypod's current version of that harness, and the harness range covers dogs from about 18 to 110 lb.
CPS ratings apply to set weight ranges per size, so choose a size whose CPS range includes your dog's weight.
