Dog DNA Tests

Breed, health and age DNA tests, compared on breed database size, health screening and turnaround.

All the tests here use a cheek swab you mail to a lab. Breed tests compare your dog's DNA with a reference database; bigger databases tend to resolve mixed breeds better. Health tests screen for genetic risk markers, and age tests estimate age from DNA methylation.

A genetic risk result is not a diagnosis. Share health findings with your vet, who can advise whether confirmatory testing makes sense.
