Why it matters
The large has an 18 in neck (not adjustable) and 26–31 in chest, recommended for 50–80 lb dogs. It slips over the head and snaps off in under 10 seconds. 1000D nylon, a POM buckle and alloy D-ring resist wear, and a wide handle with plush lining gives a full-hand grip.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Medium-large dogs
- Quick on/off
- Budget buyers
Look elsewhere if
- Dogs with thick necks (fixed neck)
- Escape artists
- Hot climates
Pros and cons
Pros
- Wide handle
- 1000D nylon
- Low price
Cons
- Fixed neck
- Over the head
- Hand wash
Limitations to weigh
- Front-clip harnesses reduce pulling but do not teach loose-leash walking on their own; pair them with reward-based training.
- Measure the widest part of the chest behind the front legs; you should fit two fingers under every strap.
