Why it matters
Three suction levels reach up to 13,000 Pa, drawing hair into the dust cup as you clip or brush. Six tools include clippers, a rotary nail grinder, paw trimmer, deshedding brush, grooming brush and crevice nozzle. Six guide combs cover 3 to 24 mm. It runs at about 60 dB.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Budget buyers
- Shedding dogs
- Nail care too
Look elsewhere if
- Noise-phobic dogs
- Professional use
- Cordless needs
Pros and cons
Pros
- High suction
- Nail grinder
- Six combs
Cons
- Generic brand
- Corded
- Noise
Limitations to weigh
- Introduce the vacuum on its lowest setting at a distance first; many dogs need several sessions to accept the noise.
- Brush out mats before clipping, keep the blade flat against the coat and check blade heat often; double-coated breeds should not be shaved short without groomer or vet advice.
