Why it matters
SUNFURA makes this vest only for small and medium dogs such as Chihuahuas, Beagles and Poodles. Floats on the belly and back keep dogs buoyant, reflective accents help visibility, and an upgraded rescue handle and D-ring make it easy to lift your dog.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Rescue handle
- Belly and back float
- Reflective
Cons
- Small sizes only
- Dry-clean care

Limitations to weigh
- A life jacket helps a dog float; it does not replace supervision near water.
- Measure chest girth, neck and back length with a soft tape and use the maker's chart; between sizes, size up.
