Why it matters
SEDULAN combines an ultrasonic deterrent, a whistle and a clicker in one handheld, so you can interrupt and then mark good behavior. An LED flashlight helps at night, range is up to 50 ft, and USB-C charges in 1 hour for up to 60 days standby.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Clicker trainers
- Night walks
- Budget buyers
Look elsewhere if
- Deaf or older dogs with hearing loss
- Homes with other sound-sensitive pets
- Barking when you are not there
Pros and cons
Pros
- Clicker built in
- 50 ft
- LED
Cons
- Dogs habituate
- Affects other pets
- Few specs
Limitations to weigh
- Find out why your dog barks first: boredom, fear, separation distress and alerting all need different fixes, and a bark collar can make fear or anxiety worse.
- Ultrasonic devices can bother other dogs and cats nearby, and many dogs get used to them; use them to interrupt, then reward quiet.
