Why it matters
At 71 in long and about 20 in wide, this ramp is longer and wider than the typical 63 x 17 in, for a gentler slope and more room. It is iron and aluminum with double reinforcement, supports 250 lb, and has a PVC looped-fiber surface for grip, even when wet. It weighs about 20 lb.

Pros

- Extra long
- 250 lb
Cons
- 20 lb weight

Limitations to weigh
- Practice at home on lead with treats before using a ramp or steps at the car; place it on firm, level ground.
- Longer ramps give gentler angles; dogs with arthritis or back problems usually do better with a gentler slope than with steps.
