Why it matters
The bi-fold ramp is 62 in long and weighs only 10 lb, yet supports dogs up to 150 lb. High-traction tread, side rails and rubber feet steady it, and a safety latch locks it folded. PetSafe includes a lifetime warranty.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Cars and small SUVs
- Owners who lift light gear
- Dogs up to 150 lb
Look elsewhere if
- Small cars with low floors
- Owners who can't lift the ramp
- Untrained dogs without practice
Pros and cons
Pros
- Light
- Lifetime warranty
- Side rails
Cons
- Steep for tall vehicles
- Plastic
- Narrow
Limitations to weigh
- Practice at home on lead with treats before using a ramp or steps at the car; place it on firm, level ground.
- Longer ramps give gentler angles; dogs with arthritis or back problems usually do better with a gentler slope than with steps.
